I was browsing YouTube the other day and decided to catch upon some Wayne Goss videos. One video caught my eye in particular and boy, was I glad I watched it! It was a tip video on applying your moisturiser in a way that can make your face a flawless base for foundation.
Basically, when you apply your moisturiser, you’re not applying a pea-sized amount to your face, you need to apply two baby carrot sized amount to your face (does that make sense? I did actually measure it against a baby carrot). I know that sounds like a lot but the trick is to apply it gradually so it all sinks in. Once the first layer dries, add the next layer and so on, until you’ve used all the moisturiser up.
After I had done this and allowed it to dry, my skin felt so smooth! Like a babys butt!! I applied my foundation like I usually do and it went on flawlessly!! I was super impressed.
Have you tried this technique yet If so, what did you think? Let me know in the comments below!
Sounds interesting….

It surprisingly works!

The method seems nice but oily skinned people like me will hesitate to go overboard with the moisturiser.

I can see what you mean. I do suffer from quite oily skin from time to time, it depends on what time of the month it is (if you catch my drift). I’ll try it again then and let you know how I get on with it 🙂
