These months have just flown by and now its May! I don’t think I’ve done a single favourites post this year!! I’ve decided to break the Favourites silence and post one for you today!
First up, I have the Neutrogena visibly clear oil-free moisturiser. I brought this at the beginning of the month as I was having a bit of an acne flare up and my face was like an oil slick! After using it a few times, it’s made its way into my makeup bag full of things I reach for everyday. I absolutely love it! It absorbs into the skin perfectly and doesn’t give an oily looking finish. even though it is an oil-free product, it leaves the skin feeling really hydrated.
Next up is the L’Oreal Paris Lucent Magique BB Cream. I brought this not knowing whether it would be any good or not as it was from my local B&M but had no colour indication on it, so I just took a chance. What also persuaded me was the fact that it was only £2.99!! I took it home and tested it out and I was pleasantly surprised, it came out white and when I blended it in, my skin looked flawless! For a BB cream, the coverage was really good. I use it almost everyday as I don’t always like wearing a full face of foundation.
Next is the one application tool I really couldn’t live without, my beauty blender (excuse the state of it, I had just used it). This isn’t an official beauty blender, it’s by W7 but works just as good. You can read the post back when I brought it here. I use this for everything, it’s great applying primer, foundation and loose powder, I honestly cant remember the last time I used a makeup brush.
This next product I wasn’t so sure about at first but it has really grown on my now and that is the Revolution Brow Pomade. I’ve used the ABH brow dip before and loved it, if I’m completely honest, this isn’t much different. A little goes a long way with this product and it lasts all day which I really love about it.
Last but not least are my favourite lip products. the first is a lipstick I brought from New Look a while ago, I got this one in the colour Brown Pattern. What I like most about the colour is that it a brown/greyish/purple colour and is so wearable, you can pair it with any look! It also has a nice formula and doesn’t leave the lips looking cakey.
The last lip product is the Nivea Hydro Care lip balm. I used to use this all the tip and only picked it up again recently, and boy am I glad I did! I forgot how lovely it was! It leaves your lips feeling so soft. It also has SPF in it which is an added bonus.
I hope you enjoyed my monthly favourites and I should hopefully have another out at the end of June!
